Bama wouldn't have beaten Ohio State. Heck, Michigan wouldn't have beaten Ohio State if they played again.

UT and LSU barely beat Bama at home. I'd say all three of those teams are pretty comparable. UT had the best win (LSU on the road, big) and their "bad" loss wasn't that bad. They deserve to be above Bama. LSU got smoked at home by UT (compared to Bama's last second loss on the road) and barely squeaked by Bama at home, then lost to FSU in a virtual home game and the killer was losing to A&M. The A&M loss is killer for LSU's resume. IF it weren't for that, they'd be right behind Bama I think. Hard to argue that with the A&M loss though.

Correct. The shine is wearing off Alabama. Some teams (like us) still let the name beat them before the game starts, but others (LSU, TN, UGA, A&M, Auburn, and even Ole Miss) no longer play scared against them. The power in the SEC has obviously shifted to UGA, and Saban is beginning to look his age. Yes, they still recruit at a high level, but they have a lot of guys portaling out too. They lose 6 starters from offense and 6 from defense, according to an article I read this morning. They aren't falling off a cliff, obviously, but seasons with multiple losses will likely occur more often than not from here on out.
