So Kliff is out there now....
I would imagine he would like to stay in the NFL versus coming back to college, but wouldn't that be interesting. Come be Co-HC OC and lets get rolling.

Kliff - Head Coach of Offense
Arnett - Head Coach of Defense.
one could dream
-
Kliff would only do this if he could work remotely 100% of the time lol
-
That would be awesome. Also, taking over for Leach has to something he would at least consider even if it is just a temporary position for him as in two-three years to readjust to a new HC position somewhere.

I don't think so. Kliff would probably want the same arrangement that Leach had. time to spend at his own place.
-
Probably, but he did come from TT

Jerry Buss tried that once....it lasted for a grand total of 5 minutes. I doubt Kliff ever comes back to college. He's not like Saban or Spurrier, successful college coaches who just didn't work out. He wasn't successful at the college level either.

I suspect he looks at OC jobs in the NFL first then sit at home for $5.5 Mil if he doesn't get one.

Sitting at home in Scottsdale with 10 mil already in the bank and another 5.5 on the way......I love Starkville and would take that 10 times out of 10. Talent is just a tad bit better out there.

And that's $5.5 through 2027, just signed that extension last year.

I would collect my checks and maybe do a little announcing on the side just for grins.

I wouldn't do crap. I'd wait for that direct deposit to hit and just smile when the Cardinals are still 5-12 or 6-11 next year because they're stuck with that Kyler Murray contract for the foreseeable future.

He will stay in the NFL at some capacity.

Yes because he sucked as a college coach. Those teams were bad. TT has m done nothing but improve since. He was the equivalent of Jomo here. Arizona was stupid for hiring him to begin with.
-
He had Patrick Mhomes at TT, and that offense looked less than stellar.
I've never gotten the fascination with Kingsbury
-
Does he have any eligibility left?
-
Biggest problem in hiring an NFL guy is that they get used to not recruiting and once you get to just coach football and not text 16 year olds, it is hard to go back unless you have no other choice.

His years at Texas Tech (2013-2018) Tech averaged 37.6 points per game I think it is very safe to say that offense was not his problem there. If we can get 30 points a game with Arnett's defense it would be a fun time

Two things: Johnny Manziel and he's a good looking guy. Programs and organizations get stars in their eyes thinking about the marketability of this young, single HC that runs an exciting offense. And to be honest, I would too. The payoff is so great that you can talk yourself into thinking the risk is worth it. He's Kiffin with better looks and worse results.
