I have been having to look at garage freezers as my freezer of 30 years just said bye.

Good luck with replacing it. Appliances hardly last that long anymore.

I suspect he's pretty well off. He gets a percentage from Kiffin's raise, Freeze hire, maybe a bunch more. I seem to remember someone posted here that he gets 15% as a one-time thing. And that's a lot of money.

Thanks ! Yeah I know the one that went out is a Kenmore (before they even had garage friendly freezers) that wasn't supposed to be in a garage and made in the USA. I highly doubt this one will be made in the US and like you said hardly last anywhere near that. I had a plumber that told me that they could design a hot water heater that pretty much would last a lifetime but it wouldn't be a good marketing strategy. Companies want to sell hot water heaters.

and add Saban, Jimbo and more of the high profile HC and assistant coaches and I think some coaches in pro sports (but I'm not certain on the pro sports).

The last ”made in America” appliance we bought the salesman fessed up and said they are all assembled in China or Mexico but when they get in the USA they attach the serial number plate which counts as being assembled in the US. SMH.

I would say that CZA is the first HC in the history of MSU athletics to go after a sitting OC in the SEC West , and then add on one of the top OC's in the country.

LOL Wouldn't be surprising but misrepresentation and false advertising.

Just my stupidity on mentioning about Replacing Freezers 101 I guess lol and I wasn't up to date on the latest KB, Sexton and MSU saga due to that. I'll shut up on the deep freeze now lol.

Off topic but still responsive to the thread branch, the door switch on our dryer broke a couple weeks ago. They first thing the repairman said when he walked in was "they don't make them like that any longer". I don't know how old the dryer is, but just a guess I'd say 15 years. This is the first problem we've had with it, and now that I saw him do the repair, I could easily do it myself - one screw at the lint screen opening and two for the switch itself (but I tend to screw things up when I try to fix them myself). Don't know what the part costs, but the total charge was $206.

That is the exact thing I was just thinking. This is now into 16 pages so I kinda fell off the last few. Who knew?

It may just be me but I tend to believe the home appliance stories in this thread more than the OC talk.
