    Man, in 1987 our boys and girls HS hoops teams did this at Wal-Mart for needy kids at Christmas and this will be a day these football players will never ever forget.

    Also, I haven't seen it mentioned much on here but Jeff Simmons' charity contributions to less fortunate kids has been utterly outstanding. Guy has a huge heart and will never forget where he came from.

    Kudos to these young men.

    I want more wins like everyone else but I love being a state fan for things like this.
    Seeing the things said about Leach this week and the true admiration and love for him puts a lot in perspective. Programs need a culture, and it was building. Fortunate enough to watch the memorial with my dad who turned 61 earlier this year which hit home to him too. These are people and it gets lost. Maybe I'm getting old or it's the season, or Leach's situation but damn proud to pull for the Maroon & White!

    That is the kind of character that will make something special of your team - on and off the field.

    MSU is and has always been a special place due to the character of the people at MSU.
