Sure would have been nice to save Mitchell for this game. Bring him into the jam that we brought Lindgren in and we could have a completely different ballgame

Looks like the whole pitching staff is scared.

Traditionally we don't play good out West. We'll be fine, but We need 2-2 this weekend at least

Why are we pitching guys that haven't pitched much all year? Laster, Houston? That is just crazy. We should have played South Alabama Tuesday night before this or not played them at all if we go to our biggest games of the year only to throw fresh meat pitchers out there in a game that we are still in.

Mitchell threw 20 on we'd. He could have gone. We chose lindgren. He had a bad outing. Happens. It just can't happen regularly or we are in big trouble.

Serious question. Do we need a new hitting coach.

I can't stand the batt on the shoulders crap. We watch way too many damn pitches. I like agressive hitting. I know we will never get that w Cohen but it sure is frustrating watching us watch pitches

Might just need some new hitters. Way too many singles hitters and strikeouts

Sorry. You are correct. Lindgren threw 20. Either way he's available. Rubber arm.

we've really never had much offense under Cohen. Was hoping that would change with elevated recruiting but we live off pitching, defense and small ball. I consider Cohen a very good baseball coach but I haven't really seen signs of him being a great hitting coach.

UCSB is very aggressive at the plate and are scoring runs.

THIS
We have no power in our line up other than Rea. Not to mention zero clutch hitting. Back to back innings we have runners on the corners with 0 out and we ground into a double play.

But when our players take healthy swings , they get called out by Cohen for taking" softball swings".

We definitely aren't showing any pop at all today. Weak ass grounders and lazy pop ups. Nothing on the nose

How many of UCSB's hits are extra base hits?
