Thoughts on recruiting letters
Marlon Humphrey (@marlon_humphrey), one of the top rated players in Alabama, just tweeted a pic of another letter similar to the "you're a baller" one. IMO these letters seem a little childish but in today's recruiting environment you gotta do something to make your school stand out. I don't mind the idea but seems like there could be a more official way to get the point across.

We're giving them something worth tweeting about

I like this one a lot more than the "you're a baller" letter. But the "drink of champions" part may be pushing it (a lot)..

I agree Love it... how many other recruits are taking pics of their recruting letters and tweeting them out ... if they get 20 a day from different schools whos do you think may be at the top of the list to open.??? maybe ours just to see what we sent them this time.. hell lets break out the crayola crayons.. maybe the next round of letters will be a conect the dots to spell out Baller...
lets see if all the rags and espn "experts" that were ripping us for the first letter still are after the tweet Hump sent out.. is he going to sign with us odds are very low but i dont see him tweeting out bama letters...

Most of the letter will not get read. They all say the same thing over and over. Ours on the other hand requires the recruit just to open it and look. May seem childish to some, but I guarantee they remember our mail and will open and look at every letter to see what it will say. I like it. Short, simple, and memorable.

I like it. You gotta do something to stand out. Mullen is letting his freak flag fly.

I think it's funny. Anytime you get recruits to tweet about your recruiting efforts and you aren't using hookers (OM cough cough OM cough OM), its a small battle victory. Recruiting is a long war but its a battle win nonetheless.
***And to be clear, I'm not calling OM coeds hookers. I'm talking actual real life hookers****
