14 Straight Red Zone Trips Ending in a State TD.
Air Raid can't score inside the 20s my ass. MFs just need to execute.
-
And the experts will tell you that the Achilles heel of the Air Raid is finishing drives in the red zone.

Well to be fair the resident expert** says that it's the "AirBone"'s weakness

Do not post. Doesn't fit the narrative***.

This was the biggest thing to me today. Looked like a legit offense.

The changes in the ol the last 2 weeks have made a huge difference

You mean when someone isn't voodoo poking our hands... we're playing to our potential?
98'. Last time we were favored at LSU. We lost 41-6. We won the West.
Hail State

Hail State
HAILSTATE!

Seems to me that so many teams are only used to defending the run the red zone, that a well executed passing game down there does damage.
Another things, we've got a few giraffes at WR with Ducking, Rara, & Robinson, They're hard for teams to match up with

Is this the best WR corp state has ever had? I think so.

Hail State
And I think Bama was being coached by Mike Shula

I went and checked because honestly I was just parroting what the announcers said and I didn't believe it upon sobering up today.
2022 Mississippi State Red Zone Offense:
9 yard TD Pass
1 yard TD Run
2 yard TD Run
1st & Goal at 6 and we have the stupid backwards pass fumble against Memphis
9 yard TD Run
9 yard TD Pass
1st & 2 at 2 vs. Zona. -2 yard rush. Incomplete Pass. Uncalled DPI. Field Goal make.
5 yard TD Pass
4 yard TD Pass
2 yard TD Pass
13 yard TD Pass
2 yard TD Pass
9 yard TD Pass
8 yard TD Pass
5 yard TD Pass
4 yard TD Pass
1 yard TD Run
So not sure what they were on about in the game. Maybe they meant SEC? P5? It's 13 straight scores (16/17 overall on the year) and 10 straight TD drives. Still a far cry from the narrative people on here would have you believe.

I guess when your whole offense is 3-5 yard passes it doesn't matter where you are on the field.*
