We are going to have a completely different team next year I count 25 incoming freshman and transfers. Only have about 15 returners. 5 have to get cut and 8 will be walk-ons.

Indeed and far from down. Let's get skenes and groff from Tulane... And maybe one or two more
And oh boy the competition this fall...

Good. I hope next year's team has very few similarities to this years team

Skenes is the key. Let's hope we don't blow it like we did in Hoops.

Our both handed pitcher seems to be liking Starkville so far....
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Yes we are. I think it's much needed. We need to transition over to Lemonis's players.
If we escape rounds 11-20 unscathed our class this year reminds me a bit of the 2016 class we brought in with Mangum, Small, Stovall, etc. Except the 2016 class took some hits when we lost Austin Riley and Grey Fenter who we had a reasonable chance of getting to MSU.

Agreed. Jett, Sims, and Logan Tanner were locks. They were signing and everyone knew it. So far, Knight is the only one that we’ve lost that we had a shot at (assuming he signs, and I believe he will sign). But we could get the entire signing class minus Jett.

That was actually the '15 class - were freshman in the '16 season. That class was pretty impressive - even with a number of guys who never played and transferred out. 17 out of 24 got drafted at some point between '15 and '19.

I'd love to get this kid on campus. What are the chances he'll have TJ surgery on both arms before he leaves.......

He's on campus. So, I hope this is him saying "drafting me now won't bring enough $, so I'm staying"

He throws left handed to lefties and right handed to righties… but I’d love to let him throw one game right handed on Friday night and then bring him back Sunday and start as a lefty. I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t do that!

If he throws with different arms, I don’t see how it would.

The arm gets all the attention, but talk to guys that go on short rest and the legs are just as crucial.
