Another inning where we got something, but needed more.

Hines has hit that Freshman Wall. His 53rd K of the year. And another one looking.

I don't disagree with that. But some of you guys just sit here and take every chance to criticize without acknowledging respect for the guy. I will take 10 seasons like this if it means a natty every 4-5 years. And the fact he doesn't have enough pitchers left (which is partially on him for recruiting). If sims was healthy, we'd be pushing for a regional right now.

Yep. And truth be told probably got more than we deserved. Kam sat on a strike three with the bases loaded that the ump bailed him out and gave him another chance for the RBI.

Yep. Hopefully he pulls a few miracles in the portal this off season. Otherwise we are staring back to back seasons of conference bottom feeders. Then the natives will be very restless.

It was a total team effort. Without PJ and Harding we don't win it. Mac played his part getting to Omaha too. Forsythe was like a golden glove and Debrule was clutch. Clark and Cumbest made their contribution.

He gets paid a lot of money. He can handle a little criticism. Last year he did great. This year even taking into account all the injuries there have several head scratching coaching decisions. Its ok to call a spade a spade.

In the words of the Japanese Grounds Crew in Major League: They?re still shitty.
Yes we got 3 runs. Yes you have to have some breaks. But the reality on that inning, With 2 on and nobody out again, disaster was avoided when a DP ground ball was booted by their 3B. Then James grounded out for what would have likely been the 3rd out of the inning, but because of the error, we got a run and James reached on a fielders choice. Luckily, we managed to score another on a ground out before Tanner got a legitimate hit to drive James in.
But at least State got some positive results out of it.

What talent Lemonis attracts from the portal and how we perform next season will tell us a lot about Lemonis. This is his 3rd full season as our HC but the first time he has faced any real adversity. Lemonis was handed Mangum and Allen but he is now going to have to find some players like that on his own.

Tepper did his job. He has come around late in the year.

Seriously, we do not have ONE pitcher on this entire staff that you can really count on from one appearance to the next. Closest thing to that at this point might be KC Hunt but I don't really feel great about anyone on the entire staff.

Got screwed out of that strikeout.

He kept us in the game, he pitched better than our starter tonight. What else do you want from the pen - Tepper. He was terrible most of the year but has turned in several good outings past few weeks. I didn't say he was our best pitcher. Reading comprehension.

Maybe he's pulling a Cole Gordon, just all of a sudden switching from bad to good without warning and staying that way.

How do you get the worst rpi in the sec? Not taking that pitch
-
Sometimes it seems we are a mess just waiting to happen.
-
Good grief Kellum! Just giving them free outs with terrible approaches on hitter counts
-
Looks like there may be a little fight left in these boys after all

Glad Kam saw a pitch, lol.
