Ha ... Vandy had a good run while it lasted
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Massively huge for MSU if that is true and goes through as I understand it.
My understanding is the conferences will decide and not the NCAA.
Glad Polk is alive to see this.

But will we capitalize on it? That's the question

We should pour more money into baseball than ever before because football and basketball as we know it are over.

Football pays the bills. Even for Baseball

No, the SEC pays the bills. You can argue Bama and UGA football pays the bills. If MSU football paid the bills, we would be selling home games left and right to keep the lights on like we did in the 50s and 60s.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Yeah. No. This is not true any more, especially at schools like State, with dwindling ticket sales already in the second smallest stadium in the conference. Like others have said, the Conference shares pay the bills. Schools like State are just along for the ride in the so-called revenue sports. We are the fodder for the big SEC schools. And if we go to 9 SEC games, 3 Non-cons with 1 being against another P5, better get used to 7-5, 6-6 records and smaller attendance. Great time to remodel the seating at Davis Wade. Put in all chair backs in lower bowl, cutting capacity down to about 54,000, hire waitresses in cheerleader outfits to serve beer and pretzels to the patrons and let it rip!!!

Yeah, bullshit. The SEC pays the bills. Get off that train because it is way off base.

This is the correct path. Like it or not.
