    9-1
On the bench for at least 30 minutes for the bottom half
And his pitch count was over 90

Preston should have been in clubhouse on his cell lining up what ass he was going to run after the game
Zero reason to run him back out there.. he did his job. If we can’t hold a 9-1 lead we deserve to lose the game

He deserved the right. But any manager worth his weight in lava rocks could see he was gassed after first batter. Even Stevie Wonder could see it was time to take him out.

The pitching/bullpen management has been abysmal this year. No other way to put it. The coaching staff has zero ability to see who does or does not have it and they are letting practice/bullpens have too much influence on their decisions

A good coaching staff takes practice input, reads the game and makes a decision. We have not had that this year to date.

"Should have been Fristoe" implies there is any certainty about Fristoe. Like bringing in Holder, Chuck Holly, or Ross Mitchell.

Fristoe is like playing with sphere of radioactive Plutonium.
