Like I?ve been asking since Gaut has been here. The guys who could hit last year, adapt and adjust their swings were Coached by a different head coach who apparently recognized and corrected these things.
I?ve seen zero changes and adjustments to hitches all season. It?s either arrogant players who don?t listen to coaching or shit coaching. Since it happens to many groups of players it most likely is coaching.

In the minors or summer league. These coaches have not changed shit on any swing all year.
If I was an opposing coach I?d tell my pitchers to go cheese inside and offspeed away to every batter. Doesn?t matter count or situation. Those are the gaping black holes in all swings except Yeager and Hines.
I?d actually try to pitch to Yeager and Hines and adjust speed and eyes.

All I?m saying is I?d volunteer my services and a few quirky drills that would help just about all of the hitters out. Maybe throw in some season chair backs behind home plate.
I?ve personally one hopped a 385 fence in the oppo gap off of a tee at home plate with these drills. It can be done. We used to do it every day after practice to see if anyone could actually hit one over the fence.
Eta. That was before the BB core bats. But it was still a shock to the brain to see it actually happen with a short quick swing and no stride. You can teach your body to do some crazy shit if you work and stop thinking you can’t.
