StTe just gave Arkansas that 8th run. Loaf over and field the single. Allow a double. Pitcher not paying attention. Runner gets a huge lead.
Which isn't a big deal. Other than the lack of effort.
Just win one this weekend

1-4-3 line. Was hoping we would at least show better than that tonight. But two left to get one. Still think we get it done.

Yeah the seeming nonchalance tonight at times is not a good look.

Only two runs allowed after the 2nd. Had plenty of outs left to get back in it and the bats did nothing. But tomorrow is a new day.

I don't think any of us actually believe we will. Maybe Sunday if Cade is lights out and the softball team can muster a couple of long balls.

That ground out probably puts Hancock under .240 now. Gross

Worst softball team I've ever seen. They've now scored a grand total of 3 runs in the last 18 innings.

Well at least one of us believes we will win one. Just don’t see our bats staying dormant. We know we can put up some major offense. Now why we seem to be so up and down with the run production is strange indeed. Never figured out that yo-yo performance with basketball either.

When you depend on the long ball, you will have some unbelievable great stretches and some unbelievably bad stretches.

Hmmm that’s a thought. Intuitively wouldn’t say we’re dependent on the long ball but the numbers may say differently. And it seems teams typically will have different guys hitting the long ball at different times, essentially picking each other up so to speak. But that would be an interesting analysis for us thus far this season.

And people told me I was stupid for saying Hancock needed to be on the bench… he either rolls over or pops up. We took out hottest hitter and moved him to the 5 hole when he was raking.
At some point the older guys who aren’t doing shit got to sit down. If your not gonna leave Forsythe at SS and just deal with his bat, move Yeager to SS, Kam to 2B and put Alford at 3rd.
Y’all think this year is rough. Wait til next year when we loose half the damn team… wait that may not be a bad thing…

I could be wrong but it seems we can't hit the Friday starter until the we've seen the pitcher at least once and some games we have to go through the lineup multiple times. On the other hand seems like that isn't the case for the opponent. I understand our starting pitching isn't what it has been but if this continues we aren't going to win Friday games so get use to it.

And yet we all knew this was coming ... the problem is there just isn't much to cling to for hope
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

The only decent-ish Friday pitcher that MSU has hit was Tulane's.
The missing pieces are Rowdey and TA. Everybody is the same or about the same. Talking only hitting.
Friday last year, MSU lost 8-2 in Vegas. So, that's a fact. Seven straight loses to the Hogs right now. 3-10 in the last 4 seasons. They are hard to beat.
