No doubt. Sometimes I think 7 is right; our sports programs seem cursed.

Maybe because don’t think my soul has ever fully recovered from Greg Elena.

If Simmons moves to starter the bullpen is scarce

I ****ing hate the night that our offense gets rolling the gods come down and kick our dicks in the dirt like this. Just a total gut punch. We look forward every week to watch Landon shove it, and to think we won't see him in our colors throw again is just depressing as hell. I really really hope it's not as bad as it looked.

starter is more important. Guys like Tepper, Hunt, Stinnett are going to have to step up. Need 8 pitchers. Auger and Brandon Smith can be the 7 and 8 guys.

We all want the best for Sims. But dang so many of you quit at the first sign of adversity. We have a season to play with or without him. And I expect to play well.

If it didn't recover after last season then there is no hope for you.

Well, that team is arguably the best team we’ve ever had in any sport and also arguably the best in college baseball that year. We were deprived of living with our first NC for another 35 years. That HR was crushing.

I think our basketball team was cursed this season for sure. Hopefully baseball players haven't been hanging out with basketball players

The real killer that year was Morgan getting his ankle smashed with the line drive against Texas that put us in the losers bracket. Even if we had survived Miami it would have been difficult to win the whole thing without having a healthy Morgan available for the next game. We only had 2 quality starters that year.

Now, you've got me wondering. Who was our number 3 starter? Trent Intorcia?

    Isn’t that the truth.

And I’m still pinching myself over our NC; still seems somewhat surreal. But then again I’ve been a fan a long time and have endured a lifetime of disappointing outcomes in our sports history. Probably makes it harder for me to fully absorb our success.
