The metal toughness and basketball IQ is severely lacking. The lackadaisical approach to the offense caused the 10 second call. We are so used to playing snails pace BBall Iverson forgot that we had gotten a rebound and not an in bounds. When you slow the human mind down as much as Howlands offense does, it is difficult to speed it back up.
That?s why the press kills us. Speeds up the mind. The only way Howlands offense works is to have future NBA all stars on your roster that can shoot 35%+ from outside. We do not have that. And you cannot all of a sudden speed up a practiced slow basketball mind.
As we saw tonight the talent is there to compete. The scheme and pace is making 4* guys produce llle 2* guys.

I'm ready for the men's program to shut down, permanently. We will never make noise in it again. We've been mediocre to garbage for long enough, that winning would require a major culture change.

Can we spend it on football!!!! If so, I agree. The space the Hump takes up would be a great 6 story parking garage.

Got my maroon colored glasses off the mantle and put them on.
I see we’ve locked up our NIT bid.

Hey. At least we can officially write off basketball and Howland now.

Got to give Garcia credit. From my 2nd row seat he is bigger and much quicker in person. His hands are fast as lightning. Tolu came up to us after the game and had tears in his eyes because he was so upset they lost.
First time I have seen this team show that kind of emotion. I asked Tolu if he had an NIL deal. He said NO ONE has come up to him.
Boys if we don?t get something together with this NIL stuff? it?s gonna get ugly in the 3 big sports.

And for the record, Molinar is a BA. He's one of my all time favorite basketball dawgs. He's won several games for us this year, and I'm gonna really miss him next year.
Reading back, I come across as a Molinar hater, and that's no where close to the truth. Really sucks that he had such a horrible game in a big game. I expect so much of him that I had unfair expectations... everyone has bad games

So true, Molinar is one tough cool performer. He has played somewhat out of position but dude delivers and takes the best shot of every team. He puts this team on his back over and over. The criticism is stupid, stupid. He had a bad game. He has had less bad games than probably anyone the past 5-10 years. Get that Mol attack out of here.

The only consistent bright spot this season.

Molinar is the only player that has played with any consistency this year. Garcia has maximized his talent and I have been very impressed. Tolu got injuries so he gets a pass. The rest of the team has been disaster though.

Disaster is a strong word. Brooks is avg 10.8 ppg and 6.8 rpg. That's pretty good production
