With Temps in the 30s/low 40s do we limit Sims innings??

Nahhhh. You let him roll. They have enough warm gear to keep him fine. Only time you might pull him a little early is if we have a 30 minute half inning where we score a bunch of runs- forcing him to sit awhile. Then you might go ahead with the hook a little before you might want.

I think he'll keep getting chances until SEC play. If it ain't working by then, you've just got to roll with something different. Similar to Hatcher last year.

We will give Clark every chance to get going. He has too much talent. His bat is electric and important for the bottom of the lineup if he can get going.

With sims pitching, maybe you can afford to play leggett. Sims doesn't give up contact much so go offense.

Leggett produces. No offense to the Forsythe, but I hope Leggett gets going and never gives it back. We have to have people playing that can defend and be a threat.

I like giving him a shot. He's earned it. And he does have more juice in his bat than Lane. But let's not act like we're are trading lane in for a 300 hitter. He he 230 last year. And had a chance to win a job then. And I'm not rooting against the guy. Hope he does well for himself and the team.

Sims just doesn't waste any pitches and I love it. He's fun to watch.

Out of Left Field deep dig today was really crapping on this team.... well Bart was. As if State was playing Noxubee County Tigers in baseball. Let's see what unfolds this weekend.

My only complaint is that, Leggett is batting 9th. I'd probably let him lead off and see what he can do.
In this very short season, Leggett has probably been our best hitter and Forsythe one of our worst. This is a no-brainer move to me and happy to see it.

Sims rattled early. Giving up 3R on 2H after Jame's error at 3B.
