The bright side to this is we're one step closer to getting another coach. Our tournament chances are all but dead.
I think Howland "retires" and we can move on.
The downside to that is I don't trust Cohen to hire a water boy, much less a basketball coach.

The talent is there. This team has folded. That UK loss was the dagger.

Yeah this is always a tough position. I want us to win but a new direction is needed. Agree don't trust Cohen on hire for anything but maybe baseball.

We lack a shooter. That's one huge piece of the puzzle missing for this team. If we had one, I could easily see 3-4 more wins for this team. However, there's some "star" power there if you're a recruitnik. There's 4 star players there in Jeffries, Molinar, Brooks and Watts. I don't see talent as a problem. I see an antiquated offense that lacks creativity and a team that lacks energy. Both are reflective of the coach.

Does anyone actually believe Cohen will make a great hire?

I don't think anyone believes that but I think we all agree that Howland is done. It's time. The old gray mare just ain't what she used to be.

Intellectually we?ve had concerns for quite some time but we?ve hung in there with hope, optimism and ever present Maroon & White loyalty.
But now it?s time for change. There will always be gratitude for everything Ben and John have done, but we need to move on.

I think Molinar is good-the others you mentioned, I don't know.

Hey we started playing defense.

-
We came out with some energy in 2nd. Don't know why we can't play a while game with the depth we got.
-
Hey Howland made an adjustment. Let carter handle thje ball and let Mol shoot.
-
And only 1 TO this half makes a big diff also.
-
This is gonna hurt like a mother******
-
We can't stand prosperity. Can't hit a FT to take the lead.
-
Dammit! I hate it when they give me hope.
Gotta go inside because we can't shoot.
-
Missed both free throws for the lead. It's the little things that causes us to lose games.
