We have the power of a Junior High team outside of Rea. Bradford and Hann just hit the ball as hard as they can and the outfielders caught it on a sprint towards the infield.

We need to get our heads screwed on straight - Michigan State who comes to town next weekend beat Oregon State yesterday.

We only play them twice at least. We will pitch Woodruff and Fitts against them I'm sure.

This was the first game that we've really gotten beat because our pitchers were hit. Two of the other losses was due to defense and then the other we lost to the national pitcher of the week. The only silver lining is the pitchers that did get hit won't pitch a lot for us this year-and Shelly is probably done for the year.

People were whining about Cohen, guaranteeing 12th place finishes, etc., during the first month of each of the last 3 seasons, and Cohen always made those people look like idiots.

The catching situation has to be fixed. We play 6 games next week, our bats have to come alive, because we will be throwing some guys that will give up hits and walks.

Totally agree - I would expect him to have a big outing next weekend - Hopefully get a start.

Exactly, and in year 6 our program should be beyond the point of stumbling out of the gate like this AT HOME against mid-level competition. If we are truly trying to get to elite status this year may actually end up being a step BACK in the process. Like you said, last year our team looked MUCH more polished early in the season and we really didn't lose to any weak teams.
