Why not give Heck a shot? What could it hurt at this point?

If we are going to be the elite team we can be, Heck and. Humphries have to be the left side of our infield.

Did Cohen not watch his own fall/spring? If its this obvious to ME why does he make these mistakes. Play Heck. Play Humphreys. Play Garner. Pitch Lindgren.

Britton should only get playing time like Frost did last year. In spots.

Exactly, I know Cohen will improve the team over the year but he doesn't have a magic wand to make guys that suck at the plate good hitters all of a sudden. Like you said, if I'm an opposing coach I preach to my pitchers to pound the strike zone and don't give Rea anything very good to hit. If you follow that pattern we aren't going score more than 2 or 3 runs on you and that means you have a great chance to beat us.

I think Bradford will end up coming through in some key spots this year, due to his experience....but damn I had high hopes for him after his freshman year and he just never could put it back together after injury.

Bradford is average at best. He's an out.

They are just pounding the zones and making us swing the bats - I hope we start making them pay soon.

Why single out Britton? At least he walks and gets on base a lot. You could pinch hit for damn near everybody right now and have just as much of a case.

We've got to find some offense. We don't scare anybody.

To be honest guys, we have so many issues right now offensively and defensively in the field that its going to be a BIG challenge for Cohen to get it straightened out. We are about to go to 4-4 after today having played 3 mediocre teams. Like someone else said, we are going to struggle mightily to score against SEC pitching and we aren't sound enough in the field right now to win 2-1 or 3-2 type games.

Too early to make that assumption IMO

Why is he playing third base? You can't have him AND Hann in the same lineup. It just doesn't work. But I digress, he has played just as poorly as anyone has in the lineup this year. He single handedly lost us that Memphis game and you can't say that about everyone either.

Just now able to tune in on live stats. Appears today we can neither hit nor defend. It's time for some leadership to assert itself. Question is- by whom?
