It's really hard to not win at LSU. I mean miles and O are average at very best and both won titles. He will do good there.

Definitely not an upgrade

He's not. They're running basically the same offense.

Dan 2.0

Napier is going to be that "hot" G5 coach that comes to a P5 school and falls flat on his face.
-
Give me the under on Riley. I've watched his teams play a lot and he will not make it long in this league if rumors are true. He plays to his competition weekly.
-
Apparently Riley isn't taking the LSU job. I thought it was a dumb move anyway with OK heading to the SEC.

Napier will probably "strain" more than Dano did, so probably an upgrade.

Yeah, not a good time to be changing teams.

If I’m LSU I would make Kiffin say no. They need a “splash name coach” IMO.

Riley not taking lsu job.

I think Riley not taking LSU is a bad move.
I would rather have LSU's talent and resources when the change comes than Oklahoma's.
I think Oklahoma could have a very rough transition to the SEC.

He probably can coach at OU a long time. LSU you start getting sideways with the fans for a year or two and you’re out. But I’d agree LSUs potential is greater.

Maybe so but it’s also gonna be tougher on programs like LSU, competition is gonna be greater even with Texas coming to Sec as well as Oklahoma.
-
Oklahoma gonna be ok, I think. Sec is starting to be an offensive league anyway now. They'll have big time qbs as long as Riley is there, and I expect them to get more quality defenders now that they're sec. I'm sure they're gonna really hit La and Mississippi now that they have sec to sell

All Kiffin's jobs are filling up... maybe he's happy where he's at?

He may have to be for now.

Oklahoma is a very good job though. You can get to the NFL coaching there. They don't have Louisiana's per capita talent but they're not far from Dallas/Texas and they have a really good culture and resources. Now that they are going to the SEC I think it's a similar job to LSU.
