The NFL wants a guy that is 6'5" 240 runs a 4.4 and has the same mental traits as Joe Montana. Not sure that human exists.
In my opinion it seems like it's better to find the QB that had the mental traits and a less physical skill set rather than a guy with the physical traits who you try to "teach".
For example physically I think Nick Fitzgerald had the best physical traits of any MSU QB I have seen to date. But he was too raw to really maximize his skill set completely.
But then you look at the NFL and you see the Brady's, Montana's, Brees, and they're highly successful moreso than most with the physical traits because they are in another level mentally despite their lack of arm strength, height, and whatever else.
