Cynical take: Sounds like it might be helpful for the players. It will be a windfall for the lawyers who want to play at being NCAA Ari Gold. The good ole boy version. Never underestimate a middleman's desire to come in and water things down for their own gain. Again, that's a cynical and hopefully wrongheaded take. Just couldn't help but be reminded of how the music industry/record labels worked before the internet and GarageBand shifted the paradigm.

I'm really hoping this works out for the players benefit. No doubt TLG is providing a needed service when it comes to taxes and structuring finances.
