What this game meant
It means we won't have a losing conference record. Yes, we haven't guaranteed ourselves a winning SEC record either, but a .500 record means that it's one less thing that the committee can use as a black eye against us. In other words- "How can we give a team a regional with a losing conference record?"
No doubt we still have business to take care of tomorrow and Saturday. But the good news is we control our own destiny still.

I think the committee looks @ the (sec) tourny games the same as regular season.

If we sweep we play the winner of USCe and Mizzou (likely) if we go 1-1 we play Mizzou in an elimination game right off the bat.

I don't know about that one. If we included SECT wins we had more conference wins than anyone last year (21) and still didn't host.
