BC’s is high and he should regress but it takes a lot of balls in play to get an accurate level for a player. At least 2 seasons because we don’t have near enough games like MLB. They want at least 800 balls in play in the MLB to get an accurate picture of a hitter.
I think it's still useful. Mangum's BAbip was ,449 his freshman year, and I said he'd never approach that again. He didn't... .382 was his best the next 3 years (senior). Babip > .400 isn't all luck, but it does require a lot
