Bednar, Sims, Brandon Smith, and Preston Johnson have thrown some electric innings this year. Harding, Koestler, Simmons and Fristoe have looked pretty good too.

1st outing of the year. Maybe wanted him to get his feet wet in a lower stress situation.

They need to kick the whistler out. We're not Vandy.

Because you have to give the guy 1-2 innings with a lead so he can settle in. You don't just start the kid after injury when you have 23 other pitchers. Let him get comfortable abd show he's ready. We aren't ole miss trying to win a regular season title.

I would let Kellum Clark and Skinner get an AB here or in the 8th if at all possible.

Polk needs to take the microphone out of his nose.

Can someone who knows baseball better than me explain why Lemonis pitched Bednar 1 inning in the 7th while we're up 4 against a non conference opponent?
I'm not being snarky. I'm really just not knowledgeable enough about baseball to understand it.

We could start Koestler on a Sunday against an SEC opponent and I would have no qualms.

He's been injured so he just wanted him to get an easy inning to see how he felt. No need to rush him back. He'll probably start next week.

91-2 and can locate secondary stuff? Heck yeah that’s a starter. What I like about him is he’s a 7th year vet and nothing will rattle him. He’s seen it all and doesn’t cave under pressure
