It's almost the same as thinking anything will change when one side wins over the other.

You're not wrong, but this is all hypothetical until we have any credible evidence whatsoever that he's doing these things.

Where does this idea that Cohen is a huge liberal come from?

Nelle Cohen is very vocal about her political beliefs and many believe John is a liberal as well just not as far left as his wife.

Has to do with bullying any other opinion if it doesn't agree with yours. People threatened with their jobs, livelihood, etc. Happens every day. Funny thing is it only happens one direction. Why do liberals not complain about it? Because conservatives believe in the constitution, freedom, etc. and don't practice the bully, cancel culture tactics.
Must spread more before. Spot on

If we are talking about HR guidance to the Athletic Department. This is common now. Even in corporations, we got an email saying it would be really nice if we added our preferred pronouns to our e-mail and linkedin profiles. The HR dude tells me that he wants young folks with mental situations to feel more at home. People just deleted the email. There are even "Social Responsibility Organizations" for every flavor of people....Women in STEM, Blacks for Diversity, Latin Something, Asian Something, and a LGBTQ Group. The CEO added one for Veterans (no veterans joined) and one for Physical Disability (nobody joined).
The only people in these groups are young Americans (no foreign guys and 2/3 of the company is foreign or foreign based). Talking 1000's of Engineers and Finance folks.
This is pretty much required for big organizations, especially a college because the people that demand-it most are the young and typically women. The Women, Black, Latin, Asian, and LGBTQ groups all seem to have the same members (same 4 people, all Ladies). When they say STEM it's usually IT people, no Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineers. One is a single American IT girl that works with 20 or so Indian people.
But even the Geology Department at Williams College had to issue a Woke statement. These are Hippies that love Hiking, Rocks, and Hound Dogs at Williams. They issued a statement that the "Biggest problem in Geology is the lack of Diversity". The biggest problem is not Earthquakes, how use Weathering Rocks for Carbon Capture, or cleaner mining of Rare Earth Metals. They did not actually write the statement, they just sponsored one written by an Indian-Born lady that is not a Geologist, Scientist, Engineer, or a Mining professional of any kind.

I hear you TFE - I work at a really large global company and half the email titles from HR seem like things from a Mel Brooks film
It?s a bit weird how quickly this has caught on and now we are in a weird illogical place where people want unity and to be seen as ?not different? but are also deeply offended if you do not acknowledge their differences.
Weird times

That's where you're wrong. You midwits just taking everything at face value have no idea how the world operates or how such absurdities like the Rand Paul hearing this week with Richard Levine can become so mainstreamed so quickly. It's planned. It's organized. You and your families are the target.

Yeah, I don't know and never said what JC believes or is doing. I'm just commenting on the original poster topic that cyber police stuff is going on. I am not on it so I don't know. I see enough every where else in society though so I don't doubt someone is.

Rex, you confuse me. You seem to be on both sides of the topic. Where do you stand on anything? Not meaning to offend, just can't tell.

If Ayn Rand's Ellsworth Toohey were actually a real person and still alive, he would be enjoying himself very much with all this PC stuff. But he would also be very depressed.
Because the PC guys have already made themselves boring and they are greedy, easily bought out. They are supposed to be pressing the advantage and doing the bidding of some austere Communist mother figure. Instead, they are hanging with movie stars, getting money from limousine liberals, hording Social Media stardom, and becoming corporate diversity officers.
This is really an upper class civil war, rich Exxon grandads vs even richer Google grandkids. Other folks should just relax and have a cold Sprite.
Keeping this sports related and MSU focused. I don't think we want JC making a glorious last stand for Western Civilization while the AD of MSU. He has to playball in the rules given, true Machiavellian. The rest is a political thread.

I don't think you have much to worry about there.

Bingo.

If any Coach would leave over being stifled- its obviously Leach. The guy has gotten so much attention the last decade or so for being real and an interesting voice. If he is being told to shut up or hide his views- I could easily see him walking.
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is
