It can't be money too. No one spends football money on women's basketball. Or add up the mens sports and that money equals women's sports.

Was she benched from the start, or at some point into the game? I didn't watch today's game.

She did not come in till 2nd half. She played very bad too and little efffort. When a good player struggles, it can go one of two ways - either turn it off or turn it up. She has turned it off. Mingo didn't play much either.

so sad I no longer have Women's Hoops to follow. I never had till Vic. I never thought I would till Vic. Amazing how much a quality HC makes.

There will be 3 or 4 transfers at end of season, 3 of them supposed stars.
-
We should never ever give an up and coming head coach a contract without clauses that allow us out of the contract if the performance is this bad.

Wasn?t McCray a point guard at Tennessee? Maybe that is why she has given the team leader title to Mya Taylor and some of the so called stars don?t like that. Unhappiness seems to be rampant with this bunch and having a Woke Coach focusing on making political statements with her wardrobe more that coaching her team may be adding to the issues. Will never have to worry about her wearing a political statement on the seat of her pants because no one will see it due to her coaching 95% of the game sitting on it.

And the thing is that Vic didn't seem to play anyone that wasn't giving max effort. It isn't like Leach coming in and busting ass. She seems like a Moorhead type hire. Looks good on paper but a bust on the court.

This is possible the worse hire in the country of all the big 4 sports ( if women’s hoops is consider the 4th of the big 3) over the last few years.
With the history and success of the previous few years with the program , what was returning on the roster, and expectations going into the season , find a coach that did less with what they inherited

Shows you Cohen doesn't look at the whole body of work and looks for the splash.

We should have never hired an unproven HC period. Our program was not that kind of program. We were an established winner. We did it in football after Croom, should not have after what Vic built.

Was Walz still the head coach at Louisville, or had he already retired at hiring time? If he was still HC at the time, he might take the job now.

The thing is, Vic never had trouble getting max effort out of his players. Taylor, Jackson, Wiggins, Mingo-Young, Matharu, and Carter all played roles on the team last year that won 27 games. There is no excuse for the drop off to this season, and any festering cancerous attitudes have been fostered by this head coach. We are on the brink of a complete collapse of the program, and that will happen because I expect the team to have massive transfers this off season.
