The Venables route.
If you like the culture where you're at and get fulfillment out of what you're doing, why leave and take the pressure of an HC job?
And not only that, but Herman just took Texas to a 7-3 record, a blowout bowl game, and will finish in the Top 20 in the year of Covid. If I'm Sark and I'm trying to revive my career after what he went through, why in the hell would I want THAT kind of pressure on me. No way in hell.

Come on mane...
10-3
11-2
8-4, but...
they beat Georgia, and took Bama to the end. The bowl was without 4 revivers (2 1st rounders). The lsu loss was the only one that unacceptable.

He?s always going to have at least that one though.

Then he won't last. I still think he's young enough to make the jump from really good to elite, but he has to cut out the WTF loss(es), and he needs to find a way to go from top 10 in recruiting to top 5. That won't be easy.

You are assuming Florida is rational - they aren’t. Sharkfricker had two SEC East titles In 2 seasons and they were ready to fire him.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

That's true.

Let us not cast stones in a glass house talking about Florida or Texas fans. We had people bitching after controlling the game and winning against a ranked team 2 days ago. With an offense that is not suited for sleet conditions. Many here were ready to can leach midway through the season, and now people are saying Texas should give a coach more than 3-4 years?
No wonder big pharma has so much wealth and control.

Texas just announced Sark as their new HC....

Thats good for teams like us and OM. Not for Fla.

Yeah but if Texas wants him that won't matter and what he's currently making at Trailer Trash U will pale in comparison......

Didn't they extend him preseason? He's got at least 2 more years there imo unless we goes like 6-6, and that's highly, highly unlikely
