I feel sick. To the people of Starkville and this great university, it cuts me deep knowing If I would of made just two plays things may have turned out different. Just know, this does not define who I am nor my team. Take this for what it is, learn from it, and grow. HailState.

Wow accountability. It takes a lot of guts for a young man to come out in public and take accountability for that. Kudos to him for being a standup guy.

He's right. Had he made a play or pass interference instead it's a different ballgame. He shouldn't have been in the game anyways. He did the same against GA. He's not an SEC safety.
-
That's the kind of attitude we need to have on our team.
I feel bad that he was in a bad situation but he played hard and as well as he could.
-
Austin Williams probably feels twice as bad.

There were no other options..
Maybe the kid isn’t an SEC safety , that falls on Mullen for offering a scholarship

Well he didn?t play again in the backfield after he got burnt a couple of times, so there was an alternative.

I agree that Mullen offering is the reason. However, he didn't have to play. Most teams don't rotate secondary players. The starting corners and safeties play 95% of the snaps. It's on the DC.

Lots of zone after the burns..... Emerson and Forbes took the deep routes while the safeties were covering intermediate throws.

This is what we should have done early on as well as last week.
