Well just because Bear Bryant played the 2nd half with a Broken leg doesn't make it a Rivalry.

That hurts the SEC as we'd play ourselves out of a playoff pot. Remember when 11-1 bama and 12-1 UGA made the playoffs? That would have been a play in game if you take the "top 2 " instead of the West winner, AUburn. Also in 2011 Bama and LSU would have rematched before the Natty.
that's 2x in the last 8 years that no divisions = one less SEC team in the national championship game. i doubt the SEc ever goes for it

We will, almost certainly next fall. This is not a normal year. Everybody's in the same boat.

And I can't understand why Kentucky of all people wants to have a rivalry with us in football.
Or like Ole Miss and LSU where LSU doesn't care about them at all and it's big for Ole Miss.
Heck- I think we have a rivalry with Alabama somewhat just because of proximity.
Not too long ago, it was a huge rivalry - when the outcome was not a given. And it's still a rivalry. There are a huge number of Tennessee fans in Alabama. They just haven't come out of the woodwork recently, but they will when Tennessee becomes competitive again.

How y'all gonna hate on this rivalry ...

And with 3:00 min left in the 1st quarter the non-rivalry that ruins the SEC's schedule is non-competitive.

I completely disagree. More SEC games is awesome. Keep it at ten, one P5 opponent, and one homecoming or tune up paycheck game.

Revisited this thread and I see that there are people who would like to see the total amount of SEC games reduced to 7 to help MSU... just FYI for anyone reading this, you are a weak minded loser if 7 sec games is your preference.

Completely agree.
I care way more about Big time SEC football weekends with family and friends than I do about an extra win against a crappy G5 team
