Agree except for the maroon pants on the road. Keep the white pants on the road.

The funny thing is these “classic” style uniforms were never supposed to be our permanent look. It was just going to be a one off for the USM game in 2014 and then we would go back to wearing our ribbon striped atrocities. But then the “100 years” uniform was so well received that we called an audible and wore it for most of our home games that year, and then made it our permanent look the next year, with a few tweaks here and there in subsequent years.
Under Moorhead we tried too many combinations and just looked bad. Keep it simple, stupid.

I seem to remember that Georgia did "dawgs" before we did.

He's the head man, so presumably he's the ultimate decision-maker. Maybe he's glad to get out of the PNW and their tendancy toward outrageous uniform looks (like Oregon).

This is my recollection as well. I've also always believed they stole the "go dogs, sic 'em" on kickoffs from us.

Maybe so. I'm 53 and we've done it as long as I can remember. Me Dad went to State so I was born a State fan.

Maroon lids and top. Gray or white pants at home. Maroon lids all white on the road.
