I get what your point is and I understand that - not necessarily agreeing with it but an incredibly small percentage of these athletes go pro... so is it right to pay ALL of them for the sake of a very few? Those very few that do make it will get theirs eventually and they have the university to thank for that....but the academic and baseball scholarships just have to be content with only an education....
