Mixing it up no politics--Favorite MSU player of all time?
So, I am sure this has been done before but who is your favorite Mississippi State Athlete of all time?
Mine would probably be Fred Smoot or Dicenzo Miller. I know neither of them were the best statistically at their position. I was 8 years old when that group was playing and have some great memories from 97-2000.
Baseball would be Travis Chapman or Mathew Maniscalco. Again, I was pretty young and have some awesome memories watching those guys from Left Field. Neither were the best we have had but both were solid and had some memorable moments.
Basketball would probably be Lawrence Roberts. Just loved the way he played the game. Not the most talented but extremely physical and played hard.

Football: Obvious answer to me is Dak but if not him then mine would be Jerious Norwood or Anthony Dixon.
Baseball: Adam Frazier, Jeffery Rea, or Jake Mangum.
Basketball: Winsome Frazier, Jamont Gordon, or Dee Bost.

Baseball - Mangum - partly because I got to see so many games thanks to the SECN. But, man that guy just IS MSU Baseball
Basketball - Darryl Wilson
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Thanks for the break from all the politics on the board, about sick of it myself. This is so hard to do; so many great Bulldogs. I can't name just one but I'll give a list. Sure I left some great ones off.
