I see where Iowa State says only
Season Ticket holders will be allowed to home games.
I wonder what other schools will follow this rule.

What about our elderly season ticket holders that refuse to leave home? How will their tickets be handled?
-
Gotta get those season ticket sales up

I assuming they are not going to sell any other tickets out side the season tickets. Those folks who do not want to go can sell their tickets. This is why I bought two extra season tickets. I can give or sell those to people who do not have one. I did this just in case this happened to us.

I've wondered this too. I got my seats again and will go, but I've wondered if others will be allowed to keep their seats in the future if they didn't get them this year solely due to covid. I guess not since they already had the seat selection.
Does anybody know how many season tickets we've sold?

I'm sure that they'd reopen if this becomes the rule.

This brings up a few interesting questions:
1. Do students count as season ticket holders? After all, they are the least likely to contract the virus
2. What happens if season ticket sales surpass a certain amount?

I thought Liverpool and such elders wanted to be able to go out and about when they want to and have everyone else stay home except for Walmart/Costco/Amazon, truck drivers, gas station workers, and healthcare workers focused exclusively on Covid but no other ailments ****

Not sure why they made this determination so far in advance.

So season ticket holders are going to “spread out”
Yeah I’m sure those box seats and club level ticker holders are willing to move around
Again it’s silly. It’s May 26th ..
guess they are going to just sell half of student tickets and make sure there is a seat between you..

Yes this "pandemic" is crazy, let's hope bringing sports back into play will solve some of this, essential has new or a different meaning now days.
Covid 19 is like baseball, leave him in, take him out, bunt or swing away, pitch to him or walk him........

And it will probably work.

The main question I'd have is that it seems like the reason they want to only allow season ticket holders to attend is that it would be easier to contact trace. However, if some season ticket holders sell their tickets through third party vendors such as Stubhub, Ticketmaster, etc. how the hell are you going to be able to trace that?
