Back from my wiley adventures chasing. Due to issues with my truck we ended up chasing more locally and missed the monsters in south MS. We did catch the one near Brooksville. It didn't appear overly strong. Snapped some trees and power lines and flipped a semi in the road. But I managed to not get inside one this time so improvement. Prayers for those caught in those road graders in south MS. The one pictures I saw was surreal. Now to kick back and relax and then figure out what to do with the truck tomorrow.

Just went back and looked at my video. I'm thinking I may have captured the tornado on the ground when it was snapping power poles. I see what looks like two power flashes at the base of where the tornado would be. I don't think they were lightning. I have a couple other people looking at it to get their opinion.

This time no one can complain about the forecast being a bust. They were pretty much dead on regarding the areal coverage. TWC just said 6 fatalities so far confirmed.
There are some storms in Arkansas heading east but it may or may not hold together.

Damn that shit was close. Ended up with debris in my yard but it missed me. Got at least two relatives homes. It's bad! Real bad. Collins to Seminary area and SoSo are wiped out. Bassfield was wiped out too. First one was over a mile wide. Second wasn't as bad but but still bad. 17!
