Watch this cell just north of Canton that is crossing 55....it's got a nice inflow path and could present problems.

Well, the PDS Watch is including Jackson, so you can't rule out serious stuff there. But I think it's going to get more dangerous as you go northeast from there. I think critical timing for the area is mid-afternoon.
I'd be really sick to my stomach right now if I lived in north/northcentral Alabama.
Which, of course, is where I am .... And this area is historically sort of a tornado center of mass.

Tornado WARNING for Sharkey and Issaquena Counties, including the city of Rolling Fork. This is a radar CONFIRMED tornado which means that the radar is signifying that this tornado is still on the ground due to a TDS being present.

This is really what makes all of this a worst case scenario. Extreme instability supporting discrete supercell development out ahead of the QLCS. This is the kinda stuff that can rapidly develop and drop a large, long-tracked tornado in fifteen minutes.

exactly. the northern most of those storms has elongated and now has a severe tstorm warning on it. developing fast.

another line developing down by lafayette. if keeping on this path would march towards mccomd then meridian possibly.
