    Green and Jackson

    What's the time table on their recovery? Are both most likely RS candidates bc of injury?

    Highly likely that they are redshirted. For them to come into camp 100%, and making the jump from HS to SEC play after no football activity for practically a year is really pushing it. Plus, what's the hurry, let them get acclimated with college life, the weight program, and get the spring under their belt....then turn'em loose.

    Green is much more likely to be able to go through August drills.

    Jackson's injury was much more severe. Personally, i wish we would discuss greyshirting with him.

    Totally agree. Players that redshirt are so much better as fifth year seniors than as true freshman.

    I think if a program like ours is disciplined enough to RS a lot it can be an somewhat of an equalizer to the elite programs.
