I hope Dickie Vs comments get back to Howland when he said this isn?t Howland Defense. Howland needs to put fire and become the inner asshole he is to get this talent to do something.

He's a players coach now. Like Moorhead.

That's a big awful foul call. It should be 8 pt game

That last 50 seconds sums up Howland's coaching in a nutshell. Got a chance to go 2 for 1 after cutting it back to 8 and Carter gets it picked and Perry picks up a charge. This team plays with no fire or passion.

Carter was bad there, but Perry drove and drew a foul. That offensive foul was BS

This team is just so blah to watch. They aren't bulldogs.
Yea Howland has recruited well and is performing statistically above average even versus recent history. But like Moorhead, the product isn't inspiring. We're underperforming that over recruiting. And it's not something people want to watch or support. The product from the women's is more inspiring (not just better). We look like a glorified AAU collection of athletes out there. Women's actually look like a TEAM.
But nah po ol mitipi tate. Should be happy with this and kick rocks if not. Can't wait to see the post complaining about students not showing up to a midweek game during midterms****

That?s this team in a nut shell. The fact that Tyson Carter is logging half of our point guard minutes and has to do it says a lot. He?s not a point guard. Howland went to sleep when recruiting last year and forgot we needed a point guard this year. We have a bad ass one coming next year but it doesn?t help this team.

Unlike football, sec basketball is a very avg product. If we fire howland for not making the tourney, we'd have an awful time finding a good candidate. We have zero fan support, and howland is a very respected coach. Firing him for anything less than a total implosion would destroy our mediocre program that we've struggled to get back to mediocre

Oh I don't disagree. It's a rock and a hard place. My point is that there is a very clear problem. How we can fix it? No idea. We're stuck with Howland for the long haul so I don't see much changing from us.

Look, I am a complete asshole when it comes to talk8ng shit about basketball. I want some 17n swagger like the road dawgs had. They excelled at literally everything, but first and foremost get-in-their-face grit.
I just cannot stand the lack of offensive set plays. I watch week in and out. We never execute a plan. We never attack a weakness. We allow the other team to exploit us every single week.

Dude got his own rebound, uncontested by 4 bulldogs after an alley oop miss.

I think howland needs to upgrade his assistants. I think howland is still a good coach, not great, but still good enough.

You need a point guard to consistently run an offense.

Howland liked their effort?
-
"Appreciate the effort" "But we need to get back quicker."
Someone tell Ben... ahh **** it never mind.
-
Does anyone miss more layups than us?

Please take care of the ball
