that's the way it sounds but not the way i thought Cohen would go with a Risky hire with a bunch of nfl experience. Matt kept talking to his intelligence. don't care as much about that as his perfectionism as coach, talent elevator, in game adjustments. moorhead was a smart guy too. too smart for his own good. so I wouldn't get wrapped up in cerebral smart coach.

Saban and Belichick are recommending Judge which is why the Browns and Giants are interviewing him. Plus he has recruited at the college level and a lot of that world has to do with NFL cred anymore.

I'm still thinking Napier and I give it until around this time tomorrow unless someone else is named before then. If no Napier by tomorrow afternoon, I think it'll be Judge.

I'm saying Judge now unless a wild rabbit (hc) hops out of the magic hat and I don't see that happening.

Too many big names in the profession recommend Judge. Saban, Belichek, and then there is Jackie.

I’m willing to overlook a few things when those types are recommending a guy and nfl teams are interviewing him.

Hell, has Mullen even gotten an interview with the nfl?

I’ll be happy with Napier and I will be very intrigued with Judge. Better than what a lot of these teams have hired lately. That is for damn sure.

i'm hoping y'all get Napier just because it's going to piss off all 15 people that actual care about USL football.

I guess I'll go with judge. I will say, I wanted Napier because he's been a head coach, but I'm not going to cry over him. He's not a sure thing and still young in his coaching tenure. I feel like we have become enamored over Napier because we just want Bert to right and have an insider with damn good sources. I'm scared of Judge, and Cohen should be too. But if he is great, this may be our only shot at him as he moves up the nfl ranks very quickly. If he comes, I hope he blows it out of the water and stays foreve. A Saban and Belichick endorsement is strong.

You tell me...it’s Birmingham Southern. I’m not digging for their recruiting class that has absolutely no relevance to how he would recruit as a HC in the SEC. It’s like comparing apples to kumquats

I'm riding with Bert until Wednesday morning. Then I think Calhoun.

See...those recommendations worry me. Everything Saban does is calculated for a win. He and Belichik are tight. I?m probably just seeing black helicopters though.

    Yep.
Saban recommended LSU hire Houston Nutt when he left here.
