If Mullen had stayed what would his salary be now?

Keep in mind he probably would have had us in top 8 last season and a NY6 bowl.

Following a NY6 game last year, it'd be up there.

If Mullen had stayed we would have probably been in the playoff hunt last year. LSU was not this years LSU and the west was as wide open since it had been since Sabans first year at Bama. That was the most surprising thing to me about him leaving. It was 2014 all over again, but a known potential run at the West. He would have easily finished 10-2 in the regular season, with the HUD/Auburn game plan all season. He would have gotten to 8-9 wins this season as well. Not much different than his two combined seasons at Florida. Add in that it now looks like Bama has peaked and could be trending back down to earth. They are as beatable now as they have been in more than a decade.

Somewhere in the $6.5-7 mil range at least and much less pressure than what he currently has. A couple more seasons without a trip to Atlanta and he will be on the hot seat.

Without a doubt IMO 2018 was the most wide-open SEC W since Saban's 1st year and we were more loaded at every position than in 2014 except WR and QB may not been on same par ... but 2014 Dak wasn't the 2015 Dak that turned into an NFL QB either. Dak did have better WRs tho.

I believe we offered Mullen $6 mill to stay. So after a more than likely really good 2018, I think he'd be making $7 mill or so now.

I would guess 6.5 mil. Playoff or NY6 in 2018 and a 8-9 win season this year.

Minimum of 6. He would've gone 10-2 last year* and at least 9-3 this year. I would've loved to see what he could've done with KT this year.

    * denotes if he wasn't job hunting.

I’d say 7.25 mil with a lot of incentives

I agree because if money was the deciding factor we would have paid him over 6 mil to stay and turn down the FL job.

Hell, some idiots in our fan base said he should have been on the hot seat before he left for Florida. He had just as much pressure here his last couple of seasons that he will have at UF. Which is dumb really really dumb. You get a winning coach you do whatever you need to to hold onto him this day in age. Especially here. He was on the cusp of elevating us to an 8-10 win reg season team and we had fans ready to cut bait because he was getting courted by other programs and had a 5-7 season after 2015.

    You?re looking at a

    9 win season in 17
    10+ win in 18
    8+ in 19.

That would hve been one of our best runs in school history.

I don?t care where you?re at if you?re winning you?re going to be getting new job opportunities. He?s winning at if and now getting nfl consideration. That?s never going to stop if you?re winning.
