It frustrates me how competitive OK St is vs A&M. They have an overall talent profile of 39th & we are 23rd.

Where do you get those "talent level" stats Gun? that sounds interesting. I would venture to say we are sucking ass in hoops and football in those categories.

247 does college team talent rankings. Basically using their recruiting rankings & applying them to the entire team rather than just a recruiting class. They're flawed but they give you a general idea.
Point is, that we looked like didn't belong on the field vs A&M but with less talent Ok St does

Gundy outcoached mullen that game. He used that diamond formation and killed us. Tyler got hurt early too, I think.

He did get out coached and dak had zero time to grow up. Mullen did a poor job giving him quick passes to get rolling after that.

I think Jimbo will eventually do well at A& M. He will get a big time runner and thrower in there and go forward. He looks to be working with limited talent on both sides of the ball right now. His offenses work

Nice adjustments by Jimbo. Watching us and the cowboys caused me to forget what that looked like.
Really good defense from both sides.

A&M has 4 seniors on the team. They are young. We had 26 on our team. They will be much better next year- we wont

That young team did a good job getting and keeping their heads in the game.

It is crazy to see if you go back and watch that game how much work Dak has put in since then. Kind of hard to believe the guy playing in that game went on to be a record setting QB for us and the Cowboys. Just a testament to Daks work ethic.
