Also, 2014 earned Dan the right to have one down season and not get fired. The fact is, this team won at least 8 games in 3 of Dan?s last 4 years on campus.

Compared to this cluster the baseball HC hire was smooth as butter

And the team he left behind won 8 too with only a D coordinator and staff doing any coaching.

We would have been much better off had we just promoted Todd Grantham from within. We would have at least maintained our culture and physicality.

Joe hasn't been fired nor has he left, so technically, there has been no football HC search.

Don?t think for a second it wasn?t discussed. However, some in the decision making process felt their were character concerns with Grantham that would stifle his ability to recruit as a HC and be the face of our program.

Hate to break it to some of y'all but the big time money givers aren't as vocal as they once were. But there are a few that I can count on one hand that are very vocal.

Rose bowl jumped the gun on that tweet. The full story is yet to be revealed, be expecting something within next 1-2 weeks.
Right before early signing period, eh? Got it! Makes sense.

I think this can be translated into, “He’s a bit rough around the edges and tells it like it is too much.”

The early signing period doesn?t matter when you have a bad coach. You sign a potentially better coach that can make the players and team better. It isn?t that hard.

You know reading all these threads each with anticipation of news of a change is about as entertaining as the ?ITS COMING? threads back in the day

Yeah, let's make a move right before that. If we do that Cohen really DOES need to go. F you are going to do it you do it NOW.

As talks progressed before slowing. A shadow candidate emerged who is currently a coordinator at a program in the Carolinas that I feel would be a HOMERUN hire.
It?s true Joe is out of the fire after that win but his presser put him a lot further back in the woods than he could have ever anticipated.
Better not be talking about Clemsons' OC or DC because those guys 'aint leaving and better program than us have tried

This! I mean, Joe lost 5 games with top NFL talent. Who cares what HS players he gets if he can’t help them get better?
