We have the "potential" to be really good but until we beat someone other than the teams we're supposed to beat, I don't want to get overly excited. The pieces seem to be there but I've seen MSU teams in the past that had the pieces fall miserably short of expectations.

The only expectation is to make the tournament. You make the tournament then whatever happens, happens. We've seen a team in the play-in game make the Final 4.

Yep 7 pt game without our best 2 defenders. Looking good. Loved the fight and effort.

The absolute best thing to me is I don't see any head cases or attitude problems. These guys appear to actually listen to their coaches and attempt to do what they say, ALL of them. It's literally been over a decade.......it's awesome. I'm in, all the way, at least as far as I can be since I'm one of the long ago kicked out locals. Let's see how far they can go!

Ben finally has his type of team. These guys play with effort. They are not out there showboating. They defend. The attack the offensive glass. They are physical.
It’s not an exciting style to watch, but when you have guys who are all in, it is an effective style. Ben’s best teams have always been hard nosed, tough, physical teams that are tough to score on.

He will sit 10 games total. We've played 6, so he'll sit another 4.
He'll be back for NM St. and will also play against Kent St. and then we hit the SEC schedule.
