Because due to LT's incompetence- Nike now owns the logo. Montana State now uses it and that really pisses me off. Could we develop something real close and use it? Absolutely. We need to. The fans would love it. We had a brand then. Now we don't. We have a big M just like Mississippi does. Its ridiculous.
While I'll agree the Nike logo is better, I'll disagree that we don't have a brand. The one thing loafers did right was to blast the M-State all over campus and make it consistent on shirts and stuff. When it was the Nike logo, most stuff still had the "walking bulldog" on it. I travel a whole lot across the SE and people recognize the M-State logo.
