Disclaimer: This is a post on Women?s basketball. Kamilla Cardosa is a 6?6? post player from Tennessee.
I?m a little surprised we didn?t get her. Several recruiting services had her projected to us. Further, while they having a good recruiting year to date, I?m bewildered with her selection of Syracuse. Regardless, good luck to her. I hate we didn?t get her. She would have really solidified the post for the future.

"Cardosa?s commitment comes only a few months after a new recruiting staff joined the Orange. Former Tennessee State University assistant women?s basketball coach Ronnie Enoch and WNBA legend DeLisha Milton-Jones both joined the Cuse women's basketball staff in July 2019 as director of recruiting and athlete performance (Enoch) and assistant coach and recruiting coordinator (Milton-Jones)."

Still surprised at Syracuse but we will be ok. However having dominate post players is still a huge advantage in women’s hoops

I've decided that you must have a dominant post player in women's hoops unless you have very elite talent like UConn. There simply isn't enough talent in women's basketball to rely on the 3 ball.

Kind of an odd commitment in that Syracuse hasn't been that good in women's basketball to my knowledge. New coach might be a great recruiter.

Syracuse is usually ranked and makes the tournament. They're not an elite program, but they are a solid program.
-
Something else to keep in mind is that Cardosa hasn't qualified academically yet.

So where does this leave us with this recruiting class?
