    MSU's freshman, the first since 2012 to have an INT!

    Emerson is the first Bulldog true freshman to record an interception since 2012 Jim Thorpe Award Winner @JBanks_27
    in 2009.

    I feel good about the future of our CBs even after Dantzler and Smitherman move on. Tyler Williams has looked good when he's gotten in, Emerson is getting serious playing time as true fresh., and Jarrian Jones is right behind him.

    I watched him closely yesterday, and while it's usm , he looked good. Gonna be a player.

    We will need a coupe of great Lbs and I think we already have these guys coming in.



    Line that up with this Moorhead offense and a defense..

    I'm confused by your post. Is it 2009 or 2012? Also Mullen didn't believe in playing freshmen so there's that.

    OP misread the tweet. It happened in 2009.

    2012 Thorpe winner Jon Banks got a few in 2009.

    I’m pretty excited about the future if our offense looks ok in SEC play. That’s all I’m waiting to see. We’re recruiting better than the past few years.
