I would assume Shrader will be the back up unless he's used his 4 games, at which point, Mayden becomes the guy

This sounds ole misses but he was not ever going to be a full time starter. There are two other four star QB on the bench that Moorhead signed. I don't blame him and wish him the best.

It is clear from Joe continuing to praise Shrader when not even asked directly about him, that Shrader is in fact the clear heir apparent. I have heard rumblings that at times Shrader has looked the best of ALL the QBs at practice.

It's because we wanted to become OM hiring Moorhead instead of being what we do. Dan was what we do..and I just knew ..les miles would have been what we do

Good luck to him. I still say if we would have played him last year, we still would have won 8 games. Just a shitty timeline with Fitz' eligibility.
Hope he goes somewhere and dominates.
The better option at this point would be to redshirt this year and then transfer at the end of the season. Although if he transfers now, he can have a season in the system.
