    Saban and Bama are masters at the deep pass

    He's been teaching it the same way ever since John Parker Wilson. Every Bama QB since copies that same blueprint. It's an art that they teach over there. We really need to copy it. Watch how the QB angles his shoulders up and just lofts the ball way in the air. It turns the pass into a jump ball punt basically and all the receiver has to do is shed the DB and catch the easy lofted pass. It really is beautiful to watch. Can we please steal this from them.

    Yes they have better receivers but it's how the QB is taught to throw it that makes it so effective for them. They have to have the highest completion rate of passes over 30 yards in the SEC and it's been that way since Saban got there.
