They didn't have a cakewalk today. Texas Tech was a national seed and they had to face an 8th round draft pick starter in an elimination game today.
But that is baseball. When you get to Omaha you throw it all out the window. But for the second year in a row we will finish at a minimum Top 6 in college baseball and be at worst the 2nd highest SEC team. That's massive for our program.

Normally, I'd agree. But this team is special. I want more. They want more.

Oh of course they do. It's still big for the program still being on this stage and being guaranteed at least 2 more games and finishing Top 6.
I definitely want more, but through all the turmoil we've been able to find massive consistency in our ability to perform on the biggest stage. 2 years in a row guaranteed to finish Top 6 and 4 straight years guaranteed to finish Top 16. That's how you get winners to come to your program.

I will be the first to say damn good season. They should be proud.
Also, if we win it, we want the SEC crown as well.

Two World Series losses by a total of 2 runs. That's got to hurt. They need to appease their Indians more.
