Key was gonna be the next great one for us too. 5-star QBs work out at around 50% of the time, so it's nuts to just assume a 3-star is a sure thing. QBs are hard to project

Key would have been the next one had Mullen stayed. Its just not a good fit for him now. If Moorhead stays this offense is made for Rogers. Again, the star rating system is flawed. I've said it 100 times and I understand if some people dont have the time to go watch the kids play but Im 99 percent sure that most of you wouldnt let somebody else form your opinion on something without ever seeing it like some of us do with the star ratings on these kids. I just think you're immersed in rankin co football, and you let it cloud your judgment. I have no doubts that Rogers is a good player, but i think you're extremely biased

What exactly has Brandon won? Pearl is the team in that county right now and that?s tough for me to say when I went to the other 6A school in the county.

I do think Rogers is a capable QB but no he is not a better passer than Schrader. And I have seen Rogers' play several times (more than 10). He does get frustrated a lot. I want to see him without two good HS WRs. Also Brandon hasn't won anything, they choke during the playoffs every year. The last thing is I know for a fact if Ole Miss offers Rogers he will be a rebel.

There are a few guys talking about it but nobody has 100% confirmed they're committing.

Shrader isnt the passer Rogers is right now. He is a lot better athlete though and I dont know a lot about him personally but Rogers intangibles are top notch as well.

Moorhead needs a thrower that can run, Im afraid Shrader is a runner that can throw but thats just my opinion. Shrader is better than Fitz was when he first got here I will say that. Rogers wont struggle with the maturity and mental part on or off the field

Shrader has been Moorhead's hand picked guy for 3 years dating back to Penn State. I think he is exactly what Moorhead wants and I think if you listen to Moorhead speak at private events you can tell how much he can't wait for Shrader to be his guy. Just my feeling. I do really like Rogers though. I love the way he competes and he throws a great ball.
